Starting Inbound Marketing
I was looking forward to this week with Mountain Pass Solutions. We were given some research to do over the weekend of what would be helpful for the company's inbound (and some outbound) marketing, which we were supposed to start this week. On Monday, we were finishing up attaching social media accounts and the important parts of Google Analytics on Cyfe for an easier way of tracking our traffic. We were going to begin using their Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts. With the plan to share a link to their website and brief descriptions of what their software can offer, hoping to get a couple of clicks on specific pages of their website. We are also on the track of starting with their MailChimp account to send out emails as well as SurveyMonkey to hear from possible contenders what their preference and opinion is on software they have used and currently use. The creation of running a HootSuite account is in the works as well. Apparently, we were told yesterday that they were swamped with finishing up content and infrastructure. I believe that if they are able to achieve and complete it by the weekend, it will be a smooth sail to start using social media accounts to gain attention, next week. It will also be very interesting to see if their website is going to be updated with a much more user-friendly layout.
